The power control module is in danger. The Wrangler and other models are recalled.
(1) Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd.: Part of the imported 2017 Wrangler (parameter | inquiry) produced during the period from August 30, 2017 to September 16, 2017, and the 2018 Grand Cherokee Automobile. A total of 161 vehicles.
(2) GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd.: Some domestic 2017 free light 2.0L vehicles produced during the period from March 29, 2018 to May 19, 2018, totaling 510 vehicles.
Reason for recall:
Some of the vehicles in this recall range may have failure due to supplier manufacturing problems. The voltage regulator chip on the powertrain control module circuit board may malfunction, causing the powertrain control module to fail to work properly, which may cause the vehicle to fail to start or turn off during driving. Vehicles may collide without warning and there is a safety hazard.
Solution:
Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the qualified powertrain control module for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate safety hazards.
Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant users of the recall by registered mail. Users can also visit the Defence Product Management Center of the State Administration of Markets (www.dpac.gov.cn) and the WeChat Public Account (SAMRDPAC) for more information.
